LADIES LOVING NASHVILLE FOUNDERS
Candy Christmas, The Bridge Ministry
Candy Hemphill Christmas was born "into a record deal" as she would say, and began traveling with her parents, Joel and LaBreeska Hemphill, along with her two brothers as apart of the "Singing Hemphills" at the age of thirteen. Throughout her musical career, Candy has found success though many musical avenues including her solo career, traveling with her trio "Heirloom", singing on the Gaither Homecoming video series and concert tours, as well as being a gifted song writer. In 2004, after sinking into a deep depression, Candy began feeding a few homeless individuals with a pot of jambalya and found a new sense of direction and fulfillment. As she began to tell her friends about what the Lord was doing under a bridge and as the word spread amongst the homeless, The Bridge Ministry was born. Through her organization, Candy is now able to serve 36,000 meals a year to the homeless and poor of Nashville, as well as distribute 720,000 pounds of groceries a year to meet the weekly needs of families. Candy will tell you that since she began focusing on others, she was able to "give" her way out of depression, and works tirelessly to share the hope of Jesus Christ. Candy attends The Resting Place church which was founded by her husband, Rev. Kent Christmas, in 2008. Together, Kent and Candy, have three children and two grandsons.

Elder Kiwanis Hockett, affectionately known as Sis. Kitty, is the Associate Pastor of Born Again Church and Christian Outreach Ministries in Nashville, TN. She has served in ministry impacting the lives of women for over 30 years. She also has a heart for young people and is known as a committed, compassionate and perceptive counselor, mentor and "spiritual mother" to many.
In 1982, she founded Fashioned In His Image (FIHI) as the women’s ministry of Born Again Church. The ministry was birthed out of a need to touch the lives of women on a natural and spiritual level. In order to meet the growing demands of women in the community, Fashioned In His Image Total Women’s Center was incorporated as a non-profit entity in December of 2000. The organization now operates out of an 18,000 square foot facility. Through both units, outreach services are offered to thousands of women and families through all parts of Nashville/Davidson County, including college campuses and surrounding counties in Tennessee. Also, Sis. Kitty co-authored the book, The Seduction of the Senses, published in 2003 by FIHI, Inc. The book powerfully yet practically deals with relational issues, including the devastating consequences of sexual intimacy outside the marriage covenant.
